The Stanford Distinguished Careers Institute will host Paul Irving, Chairman, Milken Institute Center for the Future of Aging, as the recipient of the DCI Life Journey Inspiration Award and their DCI Annual Lecturer. Irving will be joined by Phil Pizzo in a conversation focused on re-inventing the life journey through the pursuit of purpose, community and wellness.
The lecture will be preceded by the DCI Community Luncheon and the DCI Faculty Seminar featuring Dr. Jennifer Aaker, a behavioral psychologist, author, and the General Atlantic Professor at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, speaking about "Rethinking Happiness." Her research focuses on the psychology of time, money and happiness - specifically how people choose to spend their time and money and how those choices drive lasting happiness.

A reception will conclude the day's program. A detailed itinerary is available Event Resource page.
