Next Avenue 2016 Influencers in Aging

Next Avenue recently announced its 2016 Influencers in Aging. This annual list recognizes 50 inspiring thought leaders, innovators, doctors, advocates, executives and others who are changing our understating of how we age and think about aging. Paul Irving, chairman of the Milken Institute Center for the Future of Aging, as well as members of our advisory board, including Andrew Sieg, Ken Dychtwald and Becca Levy were among this year’s honorees. Says Michael Eisner, founder of The Eisner Foundation and also a 2016 Influencer in Aging, “We need to find ways to utilize our aging Americans as resources, not as burdens to our economy and our society.”  Next Avenue is public media’s first and only digital publication dedicated to covering issues for people 50 and older.
